Change Your Agent to Consolidated property management & sales

If you're looking to change your agent, it is very easy, we can help you have a smooth change over.

First check your authority and make sure your fixed managing authority date is past or about to expire with your current agent . Then all you need to do is download the letter below , fill in and send or email to your current agent and a copy to us. We will sort out everythign for you with the change over , once we have a dsigned authority.

We are able to make the transfer process fast and simple and here's how:

1. Authority to Act on your behalf

We will ned you to sign a managing authority for your property to be able to act on your behalf.

2. Advising other agent of the change over

We have a draft letter to email or mail (click on document download above) to your current agent advising them that you are changing agents and that we will be incontact with them. This is the only contact you ahve to have with them we wil do the rest for you.

3. The termination period with your current agent

As long as you are not on a fixed term period with your current agent , you only need to give them 28 days termination notice. We will liasie with the other agent to ensure the change over is smooth and we will ask for all documents on the handover day and the office keys for the property . We will advise the tenants of the change over and welcome them to been a valued client of ours.

4. Handover on transfer day

We will collect the file and all necessary documents including tenancy agreement, property condition report, rental payment ledger, keys etc.

5. Keeping the tenant informed

Once the files are collected we will contact the tenant and advise when they are paid up to and how to pay your rent and a welcome letter. We will ask them if they have any issues and arrange a inspection of the property.
